A horizontally operating sealing unit is mounted next to the 1st out feed conveyor. The seal unit eliminates the plastic tail that can cause major problems in an automated warehouse and during shipping. This sealing takes place after the wrapping cycle is complete. The sealing unit presses against the stack and melts the last layer of film onto the previous wrap. The Teflon coating prevents build up on the sealing unit. Temperature can be adjusted as needed. This unit is a must for an automatic system.
